The Great Snowglobe Caper

Online, there is a live cam originating from a livingroom in Fairbanks, AK. ~ at a dog rescue named Homeward Bound.
There I can fall in love with a dog or three and I never have to feed them nor walk them.. but I can't play with them either!
I have made human friends at this cam, as well, through the live chat feature.
We chat, laugh at the dogs, at each other (and sometimes at the rescue owners: Fairydogmother and Dogfather). We share happiness when a rescued dog leaves for their furever home.. when a sickly dog finds health again through Fairy's care, when a frightened dog remembers how to play and to trust.
We share sorrow when one departs to the Rainbow Bridge.

As a surprise, these wonderful friends got together and sent me 'snow!'

They knew it was my greatest wish to see it snow again..and so they made sure that I would.

The globes began arriving from all around the States and a lovely, hand-beaded, snowflake bracelet arrived from British Columbia.
My brother and sister in law even joined in the 'caper'.

I am beyond happy and, as Caitie (a cam-buddy) would say:
"my heart is smiling"

At the right menu, find a slideshow of all the globes and of my lovely bracelet.
Afterward, you can use the side Menu to view a video of each globe, know who it is from, and see it snow.
If it's musical, you'll hear the tune.

Thank you, Everyone
This is one of The Nicest Gestures that has ever been done for me!
